Vodafone is among the biggest mobile network providers in the UK, offering every type of plan and broadband too. The most popular Vodafone deals are pay-monthly plans that include a phone. Handset deals offer you the best smartphones and come with unlimited minutes and texts plus the data allowance of your choice.
Vodafone also has great deals on SIM-only contracts and pay-as-you-go SIM plans, which can be an excellent choice if you want a more flexible contract. Vodafone also uses the 5G network, and offers it with any type of deal, for a faster or more reliable internet connection.
Vodafone offers an extensive selection of pay-monthly phones, SIM-only deals and pay-as-you go tariffs. Take a look at our comparison of the best Vodafone deals using our comparison tool.
Pay-monthly phones, also known as handset deals, are deals in which you get both a phone and SIM with an airtime plan. Vodafone pay-monthly deals feature the best smartphones on the market, with high-end iPhone and Android devices on offer, and provide airtime plans that include unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and a data allowance of your choosing.
An enticing feature of Vodafone’s smartphone deals is that they are customisable. This means you get to choose how much GB data you get every month, your contract length and the upfront cost you pay for the phone. This way you can adapt your phone plan to suit your needs and your budget.
If you need a new smartphone but the cost of it doesn’t fit into your budget, pay-monthly plans can be a great alternative to buying a brand new phone in full. Pay-monthly plans mean you get the phone up front by paying it off every month, usually over the course of 12 to 36 months, although this will mean an extra cost in the long run.
There’s often an extra cost to pay up front as well, though some deals will give you your device with no initial fee. Take a look at our guide of the best Apple and Android deals in 2022.
Choose the iPhone you want and customise your own pay-monthly package. The most common airtime plan among iPhone customers are plans with unlimited data, which are a good choice if you never want to worry about caps on your usage.

There is also the option of getting a less expensive model, such as the Samsung S10, Samsung A12 or Samsung A03s. The only difference is that these earlier models aren’t 5G-ready, so you won’t get the fastest speeds available in certain areas.
Vodafone offers deals on many other Android handsets. These smartphones are often just as advanced but usually more affordable than iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices. We would recommend considering them.

A data-only SIM is designed to let you enjoy data while you’re on the go, whether it’s on your tablet, laptop or a mobile phone that needs a WiFi connection. Simply plug the data extension into your device and you’ll be connected to the internet. Vodafone offers the following data-only plans:
Only pay for the allowances you use with a pay-as-you-go contract:
Pay-as-you-go phones offer flexibility, not tying you to a fixed-term plan. You will only have to pay the upfront cost of the phone and your first PAYG tariff.
Once you’ve made the first payment, you get to decide which airtime plan you need every month and when to renew. Keep in mind that not all phones are available on this type of plan, but a large selection of iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices, and other Android phones are available.
A pay-as-you-go SIM is ideal if you already have a mobile phone and need a flexible data plan that won’t bind you to a long-term contract. Pay-as-you-go tariffs come with many perks, including data rollover and not needing to carry out a credit check, so you may find that a one-month rolling tariff will suit you better. Vodafone offers the following pay-as-you-go tariffs:
All PAYG tariffs come with unlimited minutes and unlimited texts.

SIM-only deals come as one-month, 12-month, or 24-month plans. The provider lets you choose the contract length you want from the options available.

Most of Vodafone’s phones are unlocked, including iPhones. This means you can easily switch providers and insert another network’s SIM card. If you’re looking to end your contract early, Vodafone will probably charge you an early termination fee. If you want to upgrade mid-contract, you can do so without having to pay off your current plan.
